HISTORY
A
Family Tradition
In 1917, our
grandfather and grandmother (Gaetano and Susan)
opened up a butcher shop and slaughter house in
Philadelphia at the Italian market on 9th street.
All of their sons and daughters helped to make the business very
successful even during the depression.
In 1959, the family
opened up a second business in Pennsauken, New
Jersey. However, this store included groceries,
frozen food, produce, dairy and deli.
Shortly after, the
Pennsauken store became a main stay for the entire
area and it was decided to sell the 9th Street
location and focus all the families efforts on the
Pennsauken store.
In 2000, Robert and Stephen DiPascale,
purchased the business from the family and opened a
produce store in the same shopping center. Today,
after over 90 years of experience, the DiPascale
family boasts being voted the best hoagies in South
Jersey by 610WIP Radio and South Jersey Magazine.
They have also been
noticed for their homemade Italian sausage that is
made fresh daily and now have 8 different flavors to
satisfy your taste buds. Finally, we have TWO chefs
on staff to help make your next party a success.
Everything from appetizers to dessert and some
fantastic meals in between to make your guests
wanting more. Stop by and see what everyone is
talking about.
